Sonography or colloquially "Ultrasonic" called, is an imaging method using ultrasound to examine organic tissue in medicine.

A significant advantage of sonography over X-rays, which is also often used in medicine, is the harmlessness of the sound waves used. Even sensitive tissue is not damaged, the examination is painless.
