Accident surgery and sports injuries
A focus of the practice is the treatment of current injuries.
If injuries are not treated properly in the acute phase, permanent damage can occur, which may require corrective measures
The most common injuries, who are treated by us, are:
- Soft tissue injuries
- Broken bones. Fractures are most common in the hand- and ankle joint area as well as the bones in the hands and feet, am Ellenborghen, Knee joint and also on the shoulder joint and collarbone.
- Joint injuries, mostly on the knee (Meniscus tears or kneecap dislocations, shoulder- and hip joint and dislocations of the finches.
- Tendon injuries, z.B. on the Achilles tendon, Triceps tendon (at the elbow), tendons of the shoulder (Rotator cuff) and the tendons of hands (most commonly extensor tendon tears) and feet (z.B. Personnel tendons)
- Knee ligament injuries (Cruciate ligaments, collateral ligaments), Ankle joint (mostly outer bands) and hand (Skidaumen, Carpal ligaments)
- open bone injuries.
Injuries and damage can also result from chronic overuse, so z.B. Stress fractures, which can generally be treated non-surgically. If non-surgical treatment fails, a surgical procedure may occasionally be necessary, such as. bei der Epicondylitis of the radial shoulder (Tennisellbogen) or Achillodynia (Overuse pain in the Achilles tendon).
